The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Purha changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Herrera looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Herrera trying to control but Purha flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Purha has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Purha is looking for the choke from the back position but Herrera is controlling his hands well.
Purha tightening his grip on Herrera, looking for the choke.
Purha is trying to control but Herrera is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Purha prevents Herrera from getting the reversal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
