Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peyton Manning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leno Maycon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Maycon's choice of entrance music: Os Caras do Momento. Leno Maycon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leno Maycon!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maycon lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Manning backs up against the cage.
Manning clobbers Maycon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Leno Maycon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Manning stuns Maycon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Manning looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Maycon wants to control but Manning is keeping busy.
Manning controlling the action here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Maycon can do anything to dispel that myth.
Manning looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Maycon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Manning is working away from the top position though.

Manning stalling away here and it's allowed Maycon to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Manning has gone for a leg lock! Maycon slips out almost immediately though and dives into Manning's guard.
Manning is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Maycon defends well.
Manning looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Manning is trying to hold Maycon in close to prevent damage but Maycon has managed to pass into half guard.

Manning is trying to control but Maycon manages to pass to mount!
Manning is in all sorts of trouble here.
Maycon avoids the attempt from Manning to control.
Manning bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Maycon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manning. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Maycon is pulling down on Manning's head to control his posture.

Maycon throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Manning sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Maycon's guard.
Manning is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Maycon has managed to free his arm - good work.
Manning in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Maycon tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Manning!
