Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lowell Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Albertinny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lowell Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Willy Albertinny!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albertinny blocks the body kick.
Frost misses with a looping left.

Albertinny closes the distance and clinches.

Frost jumps guard.
Albertinny is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Albertinny sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Frost might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Albertinny wants to control from the top but Frost keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frost is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Albertinny has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Frost is proving hard to escape from.

Frost looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Albertinny puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Frost gets back to full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Frost is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Albertinny closes the distance and clinches.
Frost jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Albertinny walks away with a smile on his face. Frost gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Albertinny fails with a takedown attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Albertinny shoots in for a takedown but Frost shows good takedown defense.
Frost swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Albertinny misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lowell Frost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Willy Albertinny.
Albertinny uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Frost.
Willy Albertinny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Albertinny throws a push kick but Frost slaps the foot to one side.
Frost appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

and Albertinny counters by moving into the clinch.

Frost ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Frost no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Frost is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Frost is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Albertinny doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Frost.

Frost wants to lay and pray for a moment but Albertinny keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ground and pound from Frost.
Albertinny is looking to improve his position.
Frost is nestled in close to Albertinny, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Well, if Frost is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Albertinny looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Frost not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lowell Frost dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Albertinny moves into the clinch.
Frost jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Albertinny walks away with a smile on his face. Frost gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Albertinny looks to land a combination but Frost avoids it well.
Frost thinks about countering with a body kick.
Albertinny has a takedown stuffed.
Frost half committed to a counter leg kick.
Albertinny throws a head kick but Frost moves out of range.
Albertinny looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Albertinny has taken the fight to the clinch.

Frost jumps guard and drags Albertinny to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Frost is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Albertinny presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Frost manages to pull guard.
Albertinny trying to control the position from guard on top but Frost is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Frost is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Albertinny can do to turn this around?

Albertinny is working Frost over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Albertinny is looking to advance position but Frost has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Frost unloads with some shots from mount but Albertinny bucks and avoids them well.
Albertinny in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Frost controlling the pace for now.
Frost landing strikes, looking to finish!
Frost lands a big shot there that rocks Albertinny but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Albertinny is looking to improve his position but Frost isn't that keen on the idea.
Frost looking to control and managing it successfully.

Frost in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Frost takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lowell Frost overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Frost throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

Frost working for a guillotine from mount but Albertinny is in no mood to give up.

Frost is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Albertinny has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Albertinny is wriggling around trying to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Albertinny wants to hold on but Frost pushes him away.
Albertinny is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Frost is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Albertinny can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Albertinny is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Poor strikes thrown by Frost there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lowell Frost dominated that second round.
That's time! Frost's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Albertinny shoots in looking for a takedown. Frost tries to sprawl out of it but Albertinny keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Frost manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Albertinny dives in and grabs Frost's left leg, looking for a takedown. Frost pushes down on Albertinny's head and hops out.
Albertinny tries to score a power double leg takedown but Frost sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Albertinny somewhat.
Lowell Frost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Willy Albertinny.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Albertinny pushes Frost up against the cage in a clinch.

Albertinny jumps guard but Frost turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Frost manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Frost lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Frost thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Frost is working Albertinny over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Frost drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Frost jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Albertinny throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Frost loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Frost is looking to work some ground and pound but Albertinny has wrist control.

Frost drops back looking for a leg! Albertinny is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Albertinny manages to kick Frost off! Frost jumps back into Albertinny's guard.

Albertinny wants to get back to his feet but Frost passes into half guard.

Frost is working for a submission of some sort.

Frost wants to work for an arm triangle but Albertinny is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Frost is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Albertinny defends it well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Albertinny is looking to control Frost's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Albertinny avoid being mounted?

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Frost keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Albertinny gets a clinch.
Willy Albertinny has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lowell Frost is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Frost fails to pull the fight into his guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Lowell Frost showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Frost, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
