PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Loren Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Armsslow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Armsslow gets a clinch.

Armsslow throws a leg kick but Castillo sees it coming and moves out of range.
Castillo fires out a quick counter leg kick but Armsslow just manages to avoid it.
Armsslow throws a nice looking combination but Castillo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Castillo tries to counter with a takedown but Armsslow is quick to defend against it.

Armsslow fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Castillo to the ground. Armsslow is now in Castillo's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Castillo.
Armsslow has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Armsslow drives through and clinches with Castillo against the cage.

That's time! Castillo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Armsslow drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Castillo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Armsslow has Castillo in his guard.
Castillo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Castillo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Armsslow has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Castillo is looking to defend but Armsslow has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Castillo! Armsslow pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Castillo taps out and this one is all over!
