Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pepe Reina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Leary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leary has chosen Dangermouse as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leary looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reina is fending him off so far but Leary persists. Nope, Reina circles away and we're back to standing.

Reina has Leary up against the ropes in a clinch.

Reina works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Reina stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leary swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Leary bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Reina's guard.

Leary slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Reina wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Leary thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Reina can't do much from the bottom here.
Reina knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leary on the ground.
Leary is looking to take a break and control but Reina is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Leary has hold of Reina's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Reina tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Leary cranks the arm and Reina screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Reina, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
