The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Mandgup counter with a right hand.

It looks like Peter Oliver has been cut.
Mandgup tries to close the distance and clinch but Oliver swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oliver tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Mandgup manages to circle out of the way.

Mandgup takes the fight into the clinch.
Mandgup is trying to force a seperation but Oliver has the dominant position.
Mandgup is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Oliver jumps guard and drags Mandgup to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mandgup is posturing up here but Oliver has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Mandgup tries to roll out but it's too tight and Mandgup has to tap! Slick submission there by Oliver!
