Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Williams Hank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams Hank could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tony Simmons 's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Williams Hank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Simmons !
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Simmons closes the distance and clinches.
Simmons looking to slow down the pace here.
Simmons stops a takedown attempt from Hank.
Hank wants a takedown.
Hank slowing the pace effectively.
Simmons is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Hank drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Simmons gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Williams Hank. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Simmons is defending well against a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Hank is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Simmons is pressed up against the cage. Hank has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Simmons down to the mat. Simmons avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Simmons throws a sloppy head kick

and Hank counters with a takedown into side control.
Hank misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Simmons is pushing Hank's head away, looking to escape. Hank manages to hold on to the position though.

Simmons wants to control but Hank postures up.
Hank will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Simmons is not content to let Hank control the position.
We've been hearing that Hank has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Hank throws an elbow but Simmons slips to the side and avoids it well.
Simmons wants to control but Hank postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Simmons closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hank did well to prevent Simmons getting side control.
Hank avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Simmons .

Simmons tries to stand but can't do so whilst Hank controls his leg.
Simmons wants to take a breather but Hank is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Simmons scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Hank is holding on to half guard well.
Hank is looking for a sweep. Simmons is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hank keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Hank gets caught napping as Simmons dives in and scores a takedown. Hank manages to retain guard.

Hank has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Simmons is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Simmons slowing the pace effectively.
Simmons tries to break free but Hank pushes him back against the cage.

Hank is fighting off a takedown attempt but Simmons is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hank to the mat. Hank regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Hank is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hank thows a huge punch but Simmons dodges it nicely.
Simmons is staying active underneath Hank, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hank lands a nice short elbow.
Simmons on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Hank thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Simmons 's head.
Hank slips a nice elbow through Simmons 's hands, connecting with Simmons 's forehead.
Hank is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Simmons reverses the position - he's now on top in Hank's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Simmons looking to sit in guard and control but Hank gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Simmons tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hank cracks Simmons with a solid left hand.
Hank won't allow Simmons to sweep him here.
Hank sitting in guard here, content to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Hank got a little sloppy there for a moment and Simmons has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hank has managed to get both his arms back between Simmons 's legs - danger averted.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hank accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tony Simmons will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Hank looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Simmons !
Simmons can't do much from the bottom here.
Simmons on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Hank controlling the position.
Hank looks up at the clock and then as Simmons takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hank smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

A lull in the action here as Hank stalls from top position.
Simmons takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.


It looks like Tony Simmons has been cut.

Hank lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Simmons down.
Simmons is looking for a sweep.
Hank trying to control the position but Simmons is working away.
Simmons is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hank asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Hank wants to control but Simmons is keeping him busy.
Simmons manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hank's best efforts.
Simmons won't allow Hank to pass to mount.
Hank slips a nice elbow through Simmons 's hands, connecting with Simmons 's forehead.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hank is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.


That has opened up Tony Simmons 's cut even more.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hank moves into full mount! Simmons won't be happy about that!
Hank lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Simmons hang on?
Simmons wants to hold on but Hank pushes him away.
Hank drops a big elbow. That's hurt Simmons ! More shots from Hank and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Williams Hank!
