Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ikki De Fenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hima Laya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Fenix comes into the arena with Bleak blaring out of the sound system. Hima Laya will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

De Fenix drives through with a takedown into guard.
Laya is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Laya can do anything to dispel that myth.

De Fenix gets to his feet and stands over Laya, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Laya felt that one! De Fenix unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Laya from any more punishment!
