The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Sodergren.
Complete fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Complete looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Sodergren lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sodergren misses with a body shot.
It looked like Complete was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Complete closes the distance looking to clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sodergren.
Complete seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Sodergren fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Sodergren has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Complete is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Sodergren lands a nice shot to the body.
Complete shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sodergren sprawls well. Sodergren wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Complete gets slowly back to his feet.
Basten Sodergren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Complete throws a combination. Sodergren tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Complete dips to his left and cracks Sodergren with an uppercut!

We've been hearing reports that Complete has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
