The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clavette darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Matador walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Clavette cracks Matador with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Clavette has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Matador to stand back up!

Matador is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Matador looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Clavette uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Matador is still on wobbly legs! Can Clavette finish him?
Matador shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Clavette sprawls well. Clavette wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Matador gets slowly back to his feet.
Matador gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Clavette gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Matador is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
