Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jenik Krejza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travwan Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Reid's choice of entrance music: hall of fame. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jenik Krejza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Travwan Reid!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Krejza.
Krejza works over Reid's head and body with a nice combination.

Krejza moves into the clinch.
Reid misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Krejza.

Krejza breaks from the clinch.
Krejza throws a head kick that misses.

Krejza moves into the clinch.
Krejza on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Krejza escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reid will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The fight stays on the outside here - Reid looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Krejza counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Reid thinking.

Krejza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reid but Reid pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Reid has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Krejza uses from the top position.

Reid lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Krejza backs up against the cage.

Reid closes the distance and clinches.
Reid is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Krejza is defending well for now.

Travwan Reid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Reid fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Krejza to the ground. Reid is now in Krejza's guard.

Reid has hold of Krejza's hands but Krejza slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Krejza scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Krejza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reid swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Krejza throws a strike but Reid rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Krejza kicks Reid off and gets to his feet.

Reid shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Krejza's guard.

Krejza has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Reid off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Krejza tries a head kick but it misses.
Krejza will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Krejza seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reid does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Krejza, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
