Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edward Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesar Quinta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinta changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Stark has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Quinta lands a jab to Stark's midsection.
Stark lands a jab to the head.
Quinta swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stark counters with a nice low kick that buckles Quinta's knee momentarily.
Quinta fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Quinta shoots in looking for a takedown. Stark tries to sprawl out of it but Quinta keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Quinta looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Quinta throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stark's waist but Stark gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quinta off to one side.

Stark is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Quinta pulls him back up using the underhooks.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quinta tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stark wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Quinta is working to avoid the ground and pound but Stark connects with a decent elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Quinta wants to control but Stark is keeping busy.

Stark lands a big elbow - Quinta is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Stark!
