Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jank Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill comes to the cage accompanied by Chicken Huntin'. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bill missing with a left hand there. Stevens was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Bill throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stevens's waist but Stevens gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bill off to one side.

Bill had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Stevens is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bill Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Stevens's back instead.

Bill is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Stevens defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

That was a close second round but I would say that Billy Bill will probably get the nod.
