Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ian Behring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Muse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ian Behring!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Muse!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Muse. Behring does a little dance to reset his feet.
A head kick misses from Muse.
Muse connects with a body shot.
Muse tried to score with a low kick but Behring checks it.
Behring shoots in and drives through. Muse sprawls well.
Muse appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Behring closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Behring prevents Muse from standing back up.
Behring is controlling the pace.
Muse looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Behring seems to be working for a kimura but Muse defends the submission attempt.
Muse is looking to improve his position.

Behring is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Muse has managed to free his arm - good work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Behring wants to work for an arm triangle but Muse is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Behring is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Muse is just riding it out for now. Behring eventually gives up the hold.
Muse is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Behring wants to control but Muse is keeping him busy.

Muse is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Behring has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Muse can't do much from the bottom here.
Muse is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Behring asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Behring works to advance to full mount. Muse defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Muse tries to hold on but Behring pushes him away.

Behring is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Muse is surviving well by controlling Behring's body position as best he can.

Behring has hold of Muse's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Muse manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Behring working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Muse tries to hold on but Behring pushes him away.

Behring wants to finish this one by submission but Muse is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Behring.

Muse wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Muse defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Behring.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Behring prevents Muse from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ian Behring dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Behring shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Muse.
Behring thows a left - swing and a miss!
Behring is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Muse can do to turn this around?
Muse pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Behring throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Muse's waist but Muse gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Behring off to one side.
Good work by Behring as he checks the leg kick.
Muse misses with a few strikes there.
Behring shoots in for a takedown but Muse shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Muse appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Behring blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Behring has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Muse avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Muse drives through and clinches with Behring against the cage.
Muse is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Behring is defending well for now.

Behring has clasped his hands together around Muse's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Behring has hold of Muse's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Muse tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Behring cranks the arm and Muse screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Muse, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
