PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Europha Emanuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emanuel has chosen I'm Not Jesus - Apocalyptica as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeremy Jitsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Europha Emanuel!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitsu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Emanuel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jitsu keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Emanuel.
Emanuel works Jitsu's body with a nice hook.
Jitsu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Emanuel as he jumps to the side.
A telegraphed right hand from Emanuel misses the target.
Emanuel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jitsu sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jitsu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Emanuel punishes Jitsu's body with a nice straight punch.
Jitsu slips under a jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jitsu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Emanuel's waist but Emanuel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jitsu off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Jitsu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice sprawl there from Emanuel as Jitsu shoots in.
Jitsu takes one on the button.
Jitsu staying out of range there.
Emanuel uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Jitsu is rocked!
Jitsu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Emanuel cracks Jitsu with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jitsu tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Emanuel pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jitsu is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Europha Emanuel!
