The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arg buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pugh looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Arg darts in and clinches Pugh up against the ropes.
Arg lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Pugh or not.

Arg breaks from the clinch.
Arg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pugh swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pugh with the counter takedown but Arg avoids it easily.

We've been told by Arg's head coaches at Beast Playground that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Arg is looking to clinch.
Pugh keeps the fight on the outside.

Arg drives through and clinches with Pugh against the ropes.
A short right from Arg.
Arg works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Arg throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Arg presses Pugh against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Arg lands an elbow that stopped Pugh in his tracks for a moment.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Arg breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Arg wants to clinch up but Pugh keeps it at a distance.
Pugh avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Arg comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Arg connects with a nice cross there... Pugh is looking wobbly and Arg recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Pugh to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Arg jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!
