Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Rayburn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Agogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hugo Agogo!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rayburn throws a lazy head kick
so Agogo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Rayburn is looking to stand up but Agogo isn't so interested in that idea.
Agogo landing with the ground and pound.
Agogo scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Agogo working some strikes from top position.
Agogo is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Agogo postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Agogo working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rayburn's head.
Agogo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rayburn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Agogo lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Agogo postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Rayburn wants to stand up but Agogo is controlling him.

Agogo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rayburn's head.
Rayburn is rocked!
Agogo is working Rayburn over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Oh Rayburn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Agogo is in close to Rayburn's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Agogo passes into half guard.
Rayburn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Agogo is working away from the top position though.

Agogo lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Rayburn quite badly. Rayburn pulls Agogo in close trying to recover. Agogo postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Rayburn on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Rayburn doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hugo Agogo!
Hugo Agogo decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
