The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Szczęsny moves into the clinch.
Drake lands a takedown into guard.
Drake stands up over Szczęsny, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Drake's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Szczęsny really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drake. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Drake scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Drake won't allow Szczęsny to sweep him here.
Drake has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Drake throws an elbow that misses. Szczęsny uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Drake's guard. Nice move by Szczęsny!

Szczęsny told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

A very excited looking Frankie Drake rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
