PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucio Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilbert Yvealies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos comes into the arena with Get It blaring out of the sound system. Gilbert Yvealies told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Yvealies had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Santos is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Yvealies Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Santos's back instead.

Yvealies has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Santos! Can he survive? No! He's out! Yvealies gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
