Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Rechichi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shakib Mahmahdulla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Chris Dean and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rechichi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rechichi throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Shakib Mahmahdulla has been cut.
Mahmahdulla throws a hook but Rechichi avoids it easily.
Mahmahdulla slaps away a takedown attempt from Rechichi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mahmahdulla bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well Mahmahdulla has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
