Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bato Bato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhi Wung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Wung.
Wung tries to clinch but Bato moves out of range.
Bato throws a sloppy head kick and Wung moves out of range easily.

Bato shoots in and gets a takedown into Wung's guard.

Wung scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Wung misses with the combination.

Wung is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bato's half guard.
Bato is trying to control but can't.
Wung drops an elbow to the side of Bato's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bato has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wung doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bato works to advance to full mount. Wung defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Bato throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wung was covering up waiting for the punch and Bato finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bato takes the fight into the clinch.
Bato has Wung pressed against the cage, preventing Wung from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Bato is pushing Wung up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bato is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wung's shoulder. That is not cool.

Bato looks up at the clock and then as Wung takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bato smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
