Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Royce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George Johnson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, George Johnson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Royce.

It looks like George Johnson has been cut.
Johnson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Johnson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Johnson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Royce seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Johnson gets a clinch.
Royce is trying to pull guard but Johnson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Royce has hold of one of Johnson's legs. Johnson is fighting the takedown attempt but Royce gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Royce drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Royce seems to have locked his on tight now - Johnson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Royce, as he picks up the win!
