Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Love Aikawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vidar Heimdall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vidar Heimdall told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heimdall shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Aikawa throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Heimdall counters with a series of strikes. Aikawa will be more careful next time no doubt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Heimdall tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Aikawa defends well and Heimdall ends up having to push Aikawa into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Heimdall slaps away a takedown attempt from Aikawa, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Heimdall dives in for a single leg takedown but Aikawa sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Heimdall closes this distance looking for a takedown but Aikawa circles away.

Aikawa jumps guard and drags Heimdall to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Heimdall is pressing down on Aikawa's thigh, looking to free his foot. Aikawa is holding on for now.
Aikawa is staying active underneath Heimdall, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Love Aikawa really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bellum Dominum logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
