Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between joey cruzan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Del Dodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Dodo has chosen Out of my way as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cruzan misses with a few strikes there.

joey cruzan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for cruzan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Del Dodo shoots in and bounces cruzan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Del Dodo has gone for a leg lock! cruzan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Del Dodo's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Del Dodo holds on and takes a little breather.

cruzan tries to close the distance and clinch but Del Dodo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Del Dodo closes this distance looking for a takedown but cruzan circles away.
Del Dodo darts in and clinches cruzan up against the cage.
Del Dodo has cruzan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. cruzan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
cruzan manages to break the clinch.
cruzan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Del Dodo looks gassed!

cruzan cracks Del Dodo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Del Dodo tries to hold on but cruzan pushes him away.
Del Dodo holds on, trying desperately to control.
Del Dodo is bucking up trying to escape but cruzan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
cruzan landing strikes from the mount and Del Dodo is in trouble!
Del Dodo is wriggling around trying to escape.
cruzan scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Del Dodo wants to control but cruzan is having none of it.

cruzan pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Del Dodo is in a horrible position here. cruzan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
cruzan blocks Del Dodo's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Del Dodo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with cruzan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
cruzan breaks from Del Dodo's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Del Dodo wants to control but cruzan is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Del Dodo slips a jab and a cross from cruzan.
cruzan works over Del Dodo's head and body with a nice combination.
Del Dodo is rocked!
cruzan closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Del Dodo! cruzan dives in looking to finish! Del Dodo is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
