And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ganbaatar Khan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winters has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Khan.
Winters is breathing heavily.
A thudding body kick lands there by Khan!
Khan misses with a few strikes there.
Khan lands with a hook. Winters tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Richard Winters has been cut.
Khan scores with a push kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Khan. Winters shrugs it off though.
Richard Winters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan lands a nice hook to Winters's body. Winters takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Khan thuds his shin into the meat of Winters's side.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Winters is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Khan throws a sloppy head kick and Winters moves out of range easily.
Winters sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Winters will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Khan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Khan lands a right hook to the body.
Khan scores with a spinning back kick!
Khan jabs Winters to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Khan lands a big uppercut and Winters crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Winters looks OK. Khan waves Winters back to his feet!

Winters is rocked!
Khan thuds his shin into the meat of Winters's side.
Oh Winters is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Khan thows a body kick. Winters tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Winters leaves his chin hanging out and Khan seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Winters crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ganbaatar Khan was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
