The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kmiec shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Boychitch defends it nicely.
Boychitch scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Damian Kmiec has been cut.
A chopping leg kick lands by Boychitch.
Kmiec misses with a combination
and Boychitch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Kmiec is rocked!
Kmiec on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Boychitch. Boychitch obviously looking to wear him down.

Boychitch cracks Kmiec with an uppercut from hell and Kmiec crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Boychitch's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Kmiec is still in real trouble! Can Boychitch finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boychitch wanted to stand there but Kmiec had control of the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kmiec can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kmiec has his hands on Boychitch's head, controlling the position.
Kmiec looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Boychitch trying to control the position from guard on top but Kmiec is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Boychitch wants to stand but Kmiec has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Boychitch stands and steps away. Kmiec gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Kmiec seems to have recovered his senses.
Kmiec moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boychitch throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Boychitch fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Kmiec to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Kmiec looks to clinch but Boychitch throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Kmiec taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
