Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Omar Dijkstra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louie Litt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dijkstra comes to the cage accompanied by Soulfly - Back To The Primitive. Louie Litt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Omar Dijkstra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Louie Litt!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dijkstra slips under a jab.
A head kick misses from Litt.
Litt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Litt is looking to land body kicks.
Litt takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Litt tries to land a leg kick but Dijkstra saw it coming and moves away.
Litt sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Litt throws a front kick aimed at Dijkstra's knee but Dijkstra avoids it well.
Litt throws out a loose jab but Dijkstra uses good head movement to avoid it.
Litt darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Dijkstra tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Dijkstra tries to clinch but Litt moves out of range.
Litt's coach down at THC playhouse was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Litt's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Dijkstra lands a lovely overhand right.
Litt shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Dijkstra counters with a shoot takedown. Litt fights it but they end up in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dijkstra working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dijkstra throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Litt works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Litt pulls Dijkstra in to control the position.
Dijkstra tries to free his leg and advance position but Litt is retaining full guard.
Dijkstra trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Dijkstra throws a strike but Litt rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Dijkstra lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Dijkstra ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Litt moves away.
Litt avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Dijkstra feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Litt's calf.

Dijkstra pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Litt looks to land a body kick but Dijkstra moved away.
A slapping leg kick lands for Dijkstra.
Dijkstra ducks under a wild hook from Litt.
Dijkstra is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Litt.
Litt wants to slow Dijkstra down by chopping away at his legs.

Litt swings for the body but Dijkstra moves out of range.

Dijkstra feinted with a counter takedown.
Dijkstra connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Litt is refusing to be controlled, as Dijkstra sits in half guard.
Dijkstra is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Litt reverses the position - he's now on top in Dijkstra's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Dijkstra wants to sweep but no luck.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dijkstra not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dijkstra is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dijkstra throws a low kick, looking for Litt's leg but Litt calmly moves out of range.
Litt wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Litt with a nice cross.
Litt moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A jab from Litt misses.
Litt scores with a punch to the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dijkstra takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dijkstra keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Omar Dijkstra will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The crowd cheers as Dijkstra lands an impressive looking overhand right. Litt doesn't seem phased though.

Dijkstra motions for Litt to come forward. Dijkstra throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Litt cracks Dijkstra with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

A bone on bone clash there as Litt blocks the leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dijkstra. That's going to slow Litt down.

Litt bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dijkstra's head backwards.
Litt throws a hook to the side of Dijkstra's head but Dijkstra sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Dijkstra fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Litt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Dijkstra decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Litt's guard.

Dijkstra creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Litt stops Dijkstra from passing to mount.

Dijkstra is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Litt is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Litt tries to buck Dijkstra off but Dijkstra is having none of it.
Dijkstra works to advance to full mount. Litt defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Litt tries to lock up and control but Dijkstra gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Litt is squirming around, avoiding Dijkstra's attempts to control the action.

Litt is looking to improve his position but Dijkstra isn't that keen on the idea.

Dijkstra has hold of Litt's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Litt manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee warns Litt that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Litt shoots in for a takedown but Dijkstra shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Litt fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Dijkstra checks it well.

Litt with the counter takedown but Dijkstra avoids it easily.

Litt looks to land a right hand but Dijkstra moved out of range.

Dijkstra has his foot on Litt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Litt works his way back into a safe position though.

Litt slips a nice elbow through Dijkstra's hands, connecting with Dijkstra's forehead.
Dijkstra wants to control but Litt is keeping busy.
Litt throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Litt lands a nice short elbow.
Litt is taking a breather. Dijkstra says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Louie Litt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dijkstra is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Litt.

Litt takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Litt swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dijkstra.
Litt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dijkstra displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Litt.

Dijkstra shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Litt's guard.

I would just about give that final round to Louie Litt.
I think Dijkstra has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
