Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kostas Bleidelis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Itor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Itor!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bleidelis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Itor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Bleidelis is doing well to control the position and prevent Itor from advancing to side control.
Itor is stalling here. Bleidelis is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Itor seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bleidelis has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Itor decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Itor thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bleidelis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Itor is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Itor wants to take a breather but Bleidelis is having none of it.

Itor gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Itor perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Itor slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Itor drops back looking for a leg! Bleidelis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bleidelis manages to kick Itor off! Itor jumps back into Bleidelis's guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Itor moves out of range of the body kick from Bleidelis.
Bleidelis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Itor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bleidelis has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Itor has passed into side control.
Itor is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Bleidelis prevents Itor from improving position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Itor stands up and beckons Bleidelis to his feet.
Bleidelis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Itor is fending him off so far but Bleidelis persists. Nope, Itor circles away and we're back to standing.

Bleidelis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Itor.
Itor throws a head kick but Bleidelis moves out of range.

Itor decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bleidelis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Itor's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Itor's back!
Bleidelis slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Itor tries to roll but Bleidelis sticks to his back.

Itor wants to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

I really don't envy Itor right now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Itor is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Bleidelis controls the action.
Itor is really stuck here.

Jan Itor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


The crowd cheers as Bleidelis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Itor doesn't seem phased though.

and Itor counters with a single leg into guard. Bleidelis didn't expect that.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Itor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Itor wants to stand but Bleidelis is controlling his posture from full guard.
Bleidelis wants to stand up but Itor is controlling him.
Bleidelis trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Itor content to stall in guard here.
Itor looking to sit in guard and control but Bleidelis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Itor looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bleidelis sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bleidelis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jan Itor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
