Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yogg Saron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Morton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Gabriel Morton enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yogg Saron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gabriel Morton!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morton stuffs the takedown attempt from Saron. Saron gets slowly back to his feet.
Morton doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Saron counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Saron trying to control the position from guard on top but Morton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Saron stands up from Morton's guard - Saron perhaps looking for a knockout.
Yogg Saron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saron shoots in for a double leg but Morton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Saron has his takedown stuffed

and Morton counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yogg Saron. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morton scores with a nice hook to the head.
Saron tries to pull guard but Morton holds him up against the cage and eventually Saron drops back down to his feet.

Morton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Morton is looking to clinch but Saron is avoiding it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Saron looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Saron pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Morton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Morton looking to control but Saron is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Saron really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Morton tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Saron is just holding on here. Morton manages to take his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Saron is breathing heavily.
Morton wants to control but Saron is keeping busy.

Saron rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Saron on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Saron tries to get out of the position.

Morton stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Saron to get to his feet.
Morton looks to clinch

and Saron counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Morton wants to control but Saron is keeping busy.
Morton wants to get back to full guard but Saron has passed into side control.
Morton wants to hold on but Saron pushes him away.
Morton really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Morton wants to control but Saron is having none of it.

Saron looking to control but Morton is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Morton tries to lock up and control but Saron gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Saron is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Morton has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Morton!
Saron has a closed guard, preventing Morton from standing up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yogg Saron dominated that round.
That's time! Saron's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Morton clinches up with Saron and pushes him back against the cage.
Saron lands a right hand that snaps the head of Morton backwards.
Saron lands an elbow just above Morton 's eye.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Saron breaks from the clinch.
Morton is looking to slow Saron down with leg kicks.

Saron darts in and clinches Morton up against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Saron.
Morton is trying to drag Saron to the mat but Saron just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Saron is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Morton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Saron pulls his leg out and moves away.
Saron wants to clinch

and Morton counters with a shoot takedown. Saron fights it but they end up in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Saron controlling Morton's posture.

Saron looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Morton trying to control the position from guard on top but Saron is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Morton stands and steps away. Saron gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Saron tries for a takedown but Morton circles away easily

and Morton counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Morton wants to control from the top but Saron keeps moving.
Morton slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Saron is looking to stand back up but Morton counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Saron.

Morton passes the guard and advances to mount!

Saron is desperately trying to improve his position but Morton has a good base and remains in mount.
Saron tries to lock up and control but Morton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Saron is trying to escape the mount.
Morton lands a big shot there that rocks Saron but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Saron is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Morton has taken his back.
Morton scores with punches and elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gabriel Morton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Saron is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Saron has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Morton with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Morton decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Saron counters with a stiff right hand.

and Saron counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Saron.
Saron is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Saron trying to control the position from guard on top but Morton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Morton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Saron's guard.

Morton wants to stand and escape but instead Saron has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Morton controls Saron momentarily but Saron frees himself.
Morton keeping moving, preventing Saron from controlling successfully.
Morton looking to control.
Gabriel Morton has got the better of the ground game so far.
Saron forces his way into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Morton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Morton is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Morton is trying to control but Saron manages to pass to mount!
Saron takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Morton regains half guard.
Morton misses with some strikes from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Saron wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morton keeps working.
Morton is looking to improve his position.
Saron is looking to take a break and control but Morton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Morton wants to get back to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Yogg Saron showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Saron has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
