Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cruz White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes to the cage accompanied by ASAP Ferg - Dump Dump. Williams has chosen 679 as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for White, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Williams misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from White.
Williams lands a nice looking body shot.
Lenny Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams misses with a hook. White ducked under it nicely.
White drives through and clinches with Williams against the cage.
Williams is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but White is keeping busy.

Williams closes this distance looking for a takedown but White circles away.

Williams sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Williams takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and White counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
White steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Williams.

enabling White to counter with a crisp jab.

Cruz White was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
