Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pascal Lhant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hammer Hands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lhant might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to IQ - From the Outside In. Hands has chosen Triumph by:Wu Tang Clan as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pascal Lhant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hammer Hands!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Lhant.
It looks like Hammer Hands has been cut.
Lhant stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A combination from Lhant does no damage.
Lhant rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hands moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lhant pushes Hands up against the cage in a clinch.
Hands lands with a right to the head.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Lhant has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Hands lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Pascal Lhant has been cut.
Hands is looking to control Lhant's arms but Lhant gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hands has his back to the cage.
Hands tries to land a knee to the head but Lhant blocks with his arms.
Lhant lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Hands misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Lhant is pushing Hands up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Lhant scores with a nice hook to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hands is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lhant is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hands throws a head punch that misses.
A body shot lands from Lhant.
Lhant blocking some punches.
Lhant blocks the elbow strike.
Hands creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Lhant controlling the action here for a moment.
Hands misses with a punch on the inside.
Hands misses with the head strike.
Hands swings wildly with an uppercut but Lhant uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lhant stalling the fight.
Lhant dodges an elbow strike from Hands.
Hands pushes off an throws an elbow but Lhant leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Hands drops Lhant with a big knee straight up the middle! Lhant is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Lhant is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hands closes the distance and clinches.
Oh Lhant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hands lands a big knee to the head and Lhant goes down! Hands pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hammer Hands!
A very excited looking Hammer Hands made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
The defeated Pascal Lhant had this to say: 'It was my own vanity that bested me! ... Or not. Guessing my graduation from white belt to blue belt 5 minutes ago didn't matter as much as I'd hoped!'.
