Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darwingh Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darwingh Alvarez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darwingh Alvarez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvarez clinches up with Lee and pushes him back against the cage.
Alvarez tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Alvarez is trying to trip Lee. He has hold of a leg but Lee is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Alvarez persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Lee is working an open guard so Alvarez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Alvarez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lee tries to counter with a takedown but Alvarez is quick to defend against it.

Alvarez darts in and clinches Lee up against the cage.
Alvarez misses with a punch to the body.
Lee throws a head punch that misses.
Lee has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alvarez blocks an uppercut.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Alvarez.
Alvarez jumps guard but Lee turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Lee lands a right hand that snaps the head of Alvarez backwards.

Alvarez jumps guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Lee stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Lee stuffs the takedown attempt from Alvarez. Alvarez gets slowly back to his feet.
Bruce Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darwingh Alvarez.
Alvarez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lee counters with a flying knee that drops Alvarez! Lee dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
