Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Cantu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Pacino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pacino has chosen Oyo Como Va as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronnie Cantu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Al Pacino!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacino displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cantu.

Pacino rushes Cantu and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Cantu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Cantu tries to keep at a distance but Pacino has taken the fight into the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pacino creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Pacino shoots in for a double leg but Cantu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ronnie Cantu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Al Pacino.
Cantu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pacino's waist but Pacino gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cantu off to one side.

Pacino has managed to clinch.
Pacino has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Pacino tries to circle away but Cantu has him pinned against the cage.

Al Pacino dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pacino.
Cantu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pacino circles away quickly and effectively.
Al Pacino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cantu tries for a takedown but Pacino sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ronnie Cantu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pacino shoots in looking for a takedown but Cantu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pacino's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pacino looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Cantu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pacino lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Pacino shoots in but no luck this time.

Pacino is trying to push Cantu away but Cantu has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Pacino just misses with a elbow thrown towards Cantu's brow.
Cantu tries to break the clinch but Pacino is controlling the position.
Cantu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cantu postures up in Pacino's guard and throws a big left but Pacino blocks it.

Pacino is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cantu defends well.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cantu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Pacino looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cantu is fending him off so far but Pacino persists. Nope, Cantu circles away and we're back to standing.
Cantu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pacino tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cantu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pacino somewhat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Al Pacino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Cantu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Pacino throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cantu tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Pacino is in Cantu's guard.

Cantu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pacino gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Pacino is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cantu sees it coming and defends easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pacino not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Cantu stuffs the takedown attempt from Pacino. Pacino gets slowly back to his feet.

Al Pacino comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pacino has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
