And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kevin Koo!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koo connects with a right hand. Griffin shakes it off.
Koo digs a good hook to Griffin's body.
Griffin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Koo.
It looked like Griffin was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Koo.
Griffin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Koo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Koo. Griffin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Griffin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Koo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Griffin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Kevin Koo has been cut.
Griffin staying out of range there.
Koo misses with a body shot.
Griffin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Koo.
Griffin on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Nice shot lands for Koo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kevin Koo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Griffin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Koo manages to avoid it.
Koo has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Griffin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Griffin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Griffin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Griffin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Koo jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Griffin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Koo was well out of range. Poor timing from Griffin.

Griffin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Griffin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Koo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Griffin tries to bum rush Koo with a series of wild strikes but Koo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Koo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Griffin. Griffin circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


Griffin is rocked!
Koo cracks Griffin with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

Kevin Koo seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Tito Griffin stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thank you for the fight thank you fans and my opponet you were the better fighter'.
