The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jihaa tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Stepniewski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Stepniewski postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jihaa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stepniewski on the ground.

Stepniewski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stepniewski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
