Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Santo Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arshnoor Singh Bahad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arshnoor Singh Bahad has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santo Bruce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arshnoor Singh Bahad!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bahad scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Bruce fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bahad, pushing him back against the cage.
Bruce really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bahad lands with a right to the head.
Bruce is trying to drag Bahad to the mat but Bahad just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Bahad fails to pull guard.
A hook to the body from Bahad.
Bruce goes for a takedown attempt but Bahad pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Arshnoor Singh Bahad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bahad dives in and grabs Bruce's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bruce pushes down on Bahad's head and hops out.
Bruce dives in for a single leg takedown but Bahad sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Santo Bruce. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bruce gets caught napping as Bahad dives in and scores a takedown. Bruce manages to retain guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bahad accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bruce bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bahad's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bruce in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Bahad wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bruce wants to control from the top but Bahad keeps moving.
Bahad pulls Bruce in close to his closed guard and prevents Bruce from doing any damage or advancing position.
Bahad preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bahad manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bruce manages to get himself to full guard.

Bruce has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Bruce will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bahad wants to control from the top but Bruce keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Bruce looking for a guillotine here but Bahad defends easily.
Bahad sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Bruce pushes Bahad off and scrambles back to his feet.
Bahad tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bruce sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bahad somewhat.
Bruce throws a body shot but no joy.
Bahad unleashes a big counter combination but Bruce bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bahad throws a right hand that Bruce ducks under and follows up with a left that Bruce also avoids with ease.
Bruce avoids a kick to the body.
Bahad avoids a kick to the body.
Bruce tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bahad swivels and escapes.
Bruce tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bahad was well out of range. Poor timing from Bruce.
Bahad bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bahad takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Bahad clinches with his opponent.
A bit of stalling here from Bahad.
Bruce is working for takedown but Bahad is calmly controlling the position for now.
Bruce wants to break free but Bahad has control.

Bahad manages to break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bahad closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bruce to the mat! Bruce manages to get full guard.
Bahad must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bruce working for a triangle but Bahad defends it easily.
Bruce is breathing heavily.
Bruce is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bahad stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bruce swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bahad prevents Bruce from getting back to his feet.
Bruce wants to hit a switch here but Bahad passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bruce there!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bahad prevents Bruce from getting the reversal.
Bahad with a couple of short strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arshnoor Singh Bahad dominated that round.
That's time! Bruce's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Bahad shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bruce but Bruce pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bahad lands with an overhand left.
A head kick from Bahad lands but Bruce takes it in his stride.


Bruce is rocked!

Bahad lands a huge takedown. Bruce is out but the ref is slow to react and Bahad lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Bruce lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arshnoor Singh Bahad!
