Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spongebob Squarepants (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Squarepants has chosen TOGETHER AGAIN as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tomasz Kowalski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Squarepants punishes Kowalski's body with a nice straight punch.
Squarepants should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Kowalski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kowalski lands in his opponent's guard.
Squarepants is looking to stand back up but Kowalski counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Squarepants.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kowalski is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kowalski is taking a breather. Squarepants says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Kowalski decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Kowalski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Squarepants lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kowalski backs up against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Squarepants lands with a nice body punch.
A slapping body kick lands there for Kowalski.
Squarepants throws a combination that misses

and Kowalski decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Squarepants's guard.
Squarepants is wriggling around but Kowalski manages to pass to half guard.
Kowalski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Squarepants looks winded!

Kowalski seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Kowalski lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Squarepants quite badly. Squarepants pulls Kowalski in close trying to recover. Kowalski postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Squarepants on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Squarepants doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tomasz Kowalski!
Spongebob Squarepants was interviewed post fight and said 'I AM ME,. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR'.
