Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kodokan Judan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Judan has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Judan throws a sloppy head kick and Douglas moves out of range easily.
Judan looks winded!
Douglas feints and as Judan raises his hands in defense, Douglas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Douglas decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Kodokan Judan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Douglas slips a jab and a cross from Judan.
Douglas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Judan to the mat! Judan manages to get full guard.
Douglas gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Douglas misses with a wild body shot.
Judan wants to counter the offense by Douglas and move into the clinch position.
Douglas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Judan is trying to defend but Douglas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Douglas winds up and cracks Judan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Douglas escapes and gets back to his feet.
Douglas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

A looping hook to the body misses from Douglas. Judan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Douglas shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Judan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Douglas is working Judan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Douglas gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Douglas closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Judan quickly recovers to half guard.
Douglas takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Douglas content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Douglas working over Judan with some ground and pound. Judan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Douglas drops an elbow to the side of Judan's head.
Douglas has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Judan defend it? Douglas steps over the head and cranks it - Judan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Douglas!
