PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Jacobsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristoff Klinkhammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Troy Jacobsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kristoff Klinkhammer!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobsen looks to score with a jab to the body but Klinkhammer is just out of range.
Klinkhammer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jacobsen tries to avoid it but Klinkhammer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jacobsen to the ground. Jacobsen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jacobsen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jacobsen lands a nice shot that snaps Klinkhammer's head back.
Jacobsen digs a good hook to Klinkhammer's body.
Klinkhammer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jacobsen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Klinkhammer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jacobsen is in Klinkhammer's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jacobsen stands and throws Klinkhammer's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Klinkhammer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jacobsen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Klinkhammer strikes from the bottom but Jacobsen takes advantage and advances to full mount!

Klinkhammer tries to improve his position but instead Jacobsen has taken his back!
Klinkhammer is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jacobsen throwing damaging strikes from the back! Klinkhammer could be in trouble here!

Jacobsen looking to break Klinkhammer's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Klinkhammer remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Jacobsen will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Jacobsen just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Klinkhammer is trying to remain composed but Jacobsen is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Jacobsen has good solid back control here.

Klinkhammer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Klinkhammer staying busy and making it hard for Jacobsen to control.

Jacobsen working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Klinkhammer is doing well to defend. Jacobsen seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Klinkhammer is forced to tap and this one is over!
