Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brazos Bender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Nigma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bender motions for Nigma to come forward. Bender throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Nigma gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bender not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Nigma looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bender passes into half guard.
Bender content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Nigma is trying to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bender in particular looking to stall.
Bender has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Bender has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bender tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Bender is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nigma can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Nigma's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Bender controlling the pace for now.
Bender has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Bender's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Bender cracks Nigma with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Nigma is still in real trouble! Can Bender finish him?

Bender lands a big shot to the head and Nigma winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
