Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jesse Custer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ada Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Custer scores with a sloppy right hand. Reyes should have avoided that one.


It looks like Ada Reyes has been cut.
Custer defending well as Reyes loads up on a big left hand.

We've been informed that Reyes has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Custer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Custer counters with a nice double leg into side control. Reyes won't be happy with that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reyes pushes Custer off looking to stand but Custer dives back in and keeps control.

Custer takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Custer throws a front kick aimed at Reyes's knee but Reyes avoids it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Custer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Custer connects with a nice short shot to Reyes's temple.

Custer is trying to control. Reyes wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Custer drops an elbow to the side of Reyes's head.

Reyes is still in real trouble! Can Custer finish him?
Custer lands with a punch from half guard.
Custer throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Reyes to regain full guard.
Custer with a flurry of punches that miss.
Custer trying to control the position from guard on top but Reyes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Reyes seems to have recovered his senses.
Reyes wants to stand up but Custer is controlling him.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
