Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Flint Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Makatua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lumberjack Song. Sam Makatua has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makatua swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Morgan counters with a series of strikes. Makatua will be more careful next time no doubt.
Makatua lands a nice looking kick to the body. Morgan takes a step back to recover.
Morgan avoids the head kick by Makatua.
Makatua on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A swing and a miss from Makatua.
Makatua throws a wild body kick that Morgan sees coming a mile off.
Morgan tries to clinch but Makatua is having none of it.
Morgan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Makatua, pushing him back against the ropes.
Morgan throws a head punch that misses.
Makatua can't find room to land a body shot as Morgan controls the action.
Makatua is trying to break the clinch but Morgan has him pressed against the ropes.
Makatua misses with a punch to the body.
Morgan tries to land knees in the clinch but Makatua avoids the damage to the body.
Makatua blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Morgan.
It looks like Sam Makatua has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Makatua breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Makatua throws a right and a left that Morgan avoids nicely.
Morgan lands with a kick to the temple. Makatua shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Morgan misses with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Makatua thumps Morgan with a low kick.
Makatua lands a nice leg kick that just misses Morgan's sensitive parts.
Morgan catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Makatua stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Makatua walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
Makatua is rocked!
Morgan moves into the clinch.
Makatua is still on wobbly legs! Can Morgan finish him?
Morgan lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Morgan breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Makatua with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Makatua looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Makatua get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Flint Morgan!
