The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balabbo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Yoshida is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Balabbo's half guard.

Yoshida wants to work for an arm triangle but Balabbo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
