And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez fails to land with a series of punches.
Hwang blocks a head kick by Lopez.
Hwang misses with an attempted mid kick.
Lopez throws a nice outside leg kick.

Lopez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hwang is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at V Elite Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Lopez takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Lopez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hwang keeps working.
Lopez winds up and cracks Hwang with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Hwang is rocked!

Lopez is working for a kimura but Hwang is defending it quite comfortably.
Oh Hwang is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hwang wants to control but Lopez is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Hwang has hold of Lopez's hands but Lopez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Hwang is looking to improve his position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lopez working over Hwang with some ground and pound. Hwang looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Hwang wants to get back to his feet.
Lopez controlling the position here and throwing strikes from the top. Nice elbow lands there... and another... and another... oh, Hwang is out! Lopez gets to his feet and admires his work - nice finish!
