Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Knope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos swats away the attempt to clinch by Knope.
Knope closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Knope lands in his opponent's guard.
Santos wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Santos wants to get back to his feet but Knope is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Ben Knope seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knope throws out a leg kick but Santos moves out of range and Knope only half commits.
Knope shoots in but Santos avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Santos counters with a stiff right hand.
Santos looks to land a right hand but Knope moved out of range.
Santos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Santos is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Knope.
Knope unleashes a big counter combination but Santos bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Santos misses with a wild combination.
Santos works Knope's body with a nice hook.
Knope tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Knope shoots in for a takedown but Santos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Junior Dos Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Knope.
A decent looking cross lands there for Knope.

and Santos counters with a crisp right hand that drops Knope! Santos lets Knope back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice takedown defense from Santos. No joy for Knope on that attempt.

Knope takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Santos counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Knope badly! He tries to strike back but Santos puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Knope out cold! Oh man, Knope will never hear the end of this one!
