Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Pala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Kmiec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kmiec looking to score a takedown here. Pala is defending well but Kmiec drives through and ends up in Pala's guard.
Kmiec postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pala is trying to keep Kmiec in close.
Kmiec looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Pala keeping moving, preventing Kmiec from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kmiec working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pala's head.

Pala has Kmiec pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Pala pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kmiec tumbling to the mat - Pala dives into Kmiec's guard.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pala is defended easily by Kmiec.
Nice defenses there by Kmiec.
Pala shoots in looking for a takedown. Kmiec tries to sprawl out of it but Pala keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kmiec manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pala shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kmiec's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pala works a leg free and moves into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Damian Kmiec will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Pala shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kmiec moves into the clinch.
Pala is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kmiec gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Kmiec tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pala just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kmiec wants the takedown. Pala is fighting it off but Kmiec persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Pala's guard against the cage.

Pala can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kmiec controls the pace.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kmiec looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pala attempts a counter takedown but Kmiec avoids it well and moves away.
Pala gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
