Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Royce Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arlen McMarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McMarson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dance Gavin Dance - Robot with Human Hair. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Becker wants to slow McMarson down by chopping away at his legs.

Becker has McMarson up against the cage in a clinch.
McMarson tries for a takedown but Becker manages to get underhooks.
McMarson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

McMarson is trying to trip Becker. He has hold of a leg but Becker is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. McMarson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Becker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Becker is looking for a triangle but McMarson pushes his legs off easily.

Becker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Becker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McMarson manages to get himself to full guard.

Becker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Becker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McMarson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Becker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
McMarson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Becker tries to clinch there but McMarson circles away.

Becker moves into the clinch successfully.
Becker gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from McMarson.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Becker is fighting off a takedown attempt but McMarson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Becker to the mat. Becker regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
