Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jax McCleary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Parlsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCleary comes to the cage accompanied by Gwen Stacy - Gone Fishing See You In a Year. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parlsh throws a nice looking combination but McCleary bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McCleary drops down looking for a counter takedown but Parlsh sprawls and moves away.
Sloppy strikes from Parlsh. Those never looked like landing.
McCleary tries to counter with a takedown but Parlsh is quick to defend against it.

McCleary closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

McCleary thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Sloppy strikes there by McCleary.
McCleary tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parlsh regains half guard, as McCleary was trying to land strikes.
McCleary is nestled in close to Parlsh, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

McCleary thows a huge punch but Parlsh dodges it nicely.
McCleary lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
McCleary lands strikes from half guard.
McCleary working over Parlsh with some ground and pound. Parlsh looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
McCleary thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Parlsh's head.

Parlsh is rocked!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McCleary lands a nice short elbow.
Parlsh is still in real trouble! Can McCleary finish him?
McCleary scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
McCleary lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Parlsh! More strikes land and this one is all over! McCleary jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Jax McCleary decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
