Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hery Rabemananjara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen 2pac - All Eyez On Me as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Jackson misses with a wild combination.
It looked like Rabemananjara wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Jackson misses with an uppercut.
Jackson throws a right hand that misses
and Rabemananjara connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jackson throws a body shot but no joy.
Rabemananjara on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jackson misses with a shot to the body
and Rabemananjara counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rabemananjara stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rabemananjara wants it to stay on the feet.
Rabemananjara tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Jackson manages to circle out of the way.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rabemananjara has been working on his boxing with his coaches at All Time Wrestling - 12 ELITE COACHES in the buildup to the fight.

Rabemananjara clobbers Jackson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jackson just misses with a punch to the body.
Rabemananjara throwing a counter right hand but Jackson manages to avoid it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rabemananjara, as that shot connected.
Jackson misses with a shot to the body
enabling Rabemananjara to counter with a crisp jab.
Jackson avoids the body shot from Rabemananjara.
Jackson swings widly with a right hand
and Rabemananjara counters with a nice uppercut.
Jackson takes a swing at Rabemananjara's ribcage but misses.
Rabemananjara scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jackson doesn't seem bothered though.
Jackson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Rabemananjara walks into a stiff left hand from Jackson.
Jackson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jackson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

An attempted straight right counter from Rabemananjara misses the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Rabemananjara does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rabemananjara was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Jackson misses with the combination.
Jackson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jackson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rabemananjara dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rabemananjara takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Julius Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jackson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Rabemananjara counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Rabemananjara comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jackson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Sloppy strikes from Jackson. Those never looked like landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jackson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jackson is rocked!
Rabemananjara is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Jackson flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jackson is out cold! Rabemananjara holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hery Rabemananjara!
After the fight, Hery Rabemananjara was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
The defeated Julius Jackson had this to say: 'Thanks to Hery for the opportunity and for the new training motivation. Sorry fans, but I'll be back stronger than ever'.
