The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nutz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nutz remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Nutz looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Nutz wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Orton, who protects the arm well.

Orton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Orton is looking for a sweep.

Orton tries to bench press Nutz off him but Nutz keeps the position.

Orton is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Nutz's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Nutz! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Orton has tapped! This one is allllll over!
